ALL ABOUT US

Women On Wheels is an Australian, Community Service based business, in the business of helping women get the most from their vehicles, providing safe and practical information in FREE workshops for women, held all over Australia.

We are a business run by women, for women.

Jacqui: "Both of us saw a need for this type of community service. There have been situations for both of us, in servicing a car and handling car problems on our own. Neither of us knew what we were doing and both ended up getting a male family member to help. Being independent women, that didn't always sit well with us. Short of going to do a TAFE course, which with young families that wasn't an option - there wasn't anywhere for women to gain the information, so we thought we should do something about that."

Joanne: "We thought it essential to make these workshops accessible, fun and informative. and from the feedback we receive we think we've hit the mark. We want our workshop attendees to walk out at the end feeling like they can confidently talk to a car service person about their car, that they will know how to check the oil and tyre pressure and they will feel safe should they find themselves with emergency car problems.

We provide info sheets, clean workshops, knowledgable experts, light refreshments and a few hours of info and advice to put women in charge of their vehicles."

Book early, spaces are limited.
